Hiromu SHINOZUKA was born in Koga, Fukuoka, Japan. She is a blood type A and enjoys watching sports on TV. Mangaka drawing shôjo, she has been working for Ciao magazine since her debut. His first work entitled "Takkyû" shôjo" (= table tennis player) was born in 1999 in the special summer issue of Ciao.
In 2001, she published "Wagamama Fairy: Mirumo de Pon!" (known as "Mirumo" in France), a title that earned her some notoriety. Indeed, the Kôdansha Prize was awarded to hẻ in 2003, followed by the Shōgakukan Prize in 2004. In the spring of 2002, the series was adapted into an anime, which received the following year the TV Tokyo Award for Best New Television Program.
After 12 volumes spent in the company of the muglins (see the little geniuses of "Mirumo"), Shinozuka decided to start a new series, "Koisuru purin" which appeared in issue 4 of Ciao magazine in 2006.
The same year, she participated with Mayuki ANAN, Yuuka TAKAMURA and Yuuko KOHARA in the manga "Change!" which is a compilation of short stories. "Chibi devil", her latest work and still in the process of being published, is a mixture of comedy and the supernatural.
