Sooyeon Won is commonly acknowledged as the greatest shoujo (romance) artist in Korea.
Since her debut in 1987, she has been creating comic books of extensive scope ranging from effervescent romance titles to dramas that speculate on human nature in its profundity.
She's currently serially publishing Full House 2: Ally & Ryder's Second Story.

She captivates readers with her fluid drawing style and absorbing story development, and is an indispensable artist in Korea's pure manga industry. | Truly a Romeo-and-Juliet type of love story. Two opposing Mafia bosses' children, Elio and Yvette, are in love. The twist to the story is Yvette's brother is also in love with her! The same manga that The same manga that established Won so-yeon as a popular manga artist. There's the theme of love, and there's also the grandiose scale of "Mafia." The part where the loved one knows that he is the child of the enemy gives the impression that it is cliché, but when we see that few people consider Romeo and Juliet to be banal, it seems that such an impression is also a bad habit that stems from a prejudice against comics. It is a manga that does not deviate too much from the formula of pure manga, but has a strange charm that comes with a new feeling. |
