Born on October 6, 1981, Keiko Sasaki (佐々木 恵子, Sasaki Keiko) uses her pen name for all her notable works.
Kei Sasuga has always wanted to become a mangaka, but she thought she wasn't fit for it so she kept it as a hobby and went to design school. From there she got the desire to become a mangaka again, however didn't have the time for it when she was in design school.
Sasuga-sensei started thinking if she doesn't do what she wants and becomes a mangaka, she might get filled with regrets later in her life. So after design school she decided to take up her passion and become a mangaka. She wrote "Good Ending" then went on to make "Domestic na Kanojo" to do so she used weekly survey's from viewers while writing "Good Ending" to make "Domestic na Kanojo".
Sasuga-sensei has said that each character in "Domestic na Kanojo" has at least a little bit of her in them, some more than others like for example "Natsuo Fujii". Sasuga-sensei has also said that she wanted to make sure that all loose ends were dealt with by the end of "Domestic na Kanojo". Sasuga-sensei also has said that the side stories were less focused on than she would have liked because people were not finding them as "Likable". Sasuga-sensei has also said that she can't chose between Rui and Hina if asked which one she likes better as she just said "Both are my daughters!". Sasuga-sensei already had decided how the ending was going to be by the 8th volume and even made blueprints for the panels. Sasuga-sensei has also said that 2 characters she was fond of were "Marie/Masaki Kobayashi" and "Misaki Ogura". Sasuga-sensei wrote at the end of a chapter once that Natsuo is supposed to want everyone to be happy and that he was nice, but he also has normal lust and stuff, as she feels if your perfect your kind of creepy. Sasuga-sensei has also made and given a gift to youtuber "Gigguk" also known as "Garnt Maneetapho"

| Domesutikku na Kanojo (ドメスティックな彼女), also known as Domestic Girlfriend, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kei Sasuga. The series has been serialized weekly in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine since April 2014 and digitally published by Kodansha Comics since April 2017. Natsuo Fujii is hopelessly in love with his teacher, Hina. Trying to move on, he agrees to a mixer. There he meets an odd girl, Rui Tachibana who invites him to sneak out. She takes him to her house and asks him to have sex with her. Natsuo, frustrated that his love will not bear fruit anyway, says goodbye to his virginity. The next day, Natsuo's dad tells him that he wants to remarry and his prospective partner is coming to their house that evening. When the door opens, it turns out that Rui is Hina's younger sister and both are daughters of the woman his father wants to marry, Tokiko Tachibana. Natsuo's outrageous new life starts now.
