| Wings is a bimonthly manga magazine published by Shinshokan. It was first published in 1982. It was born as a science fiction & fantasy magazine, which was rare at the time, and had a readership of about half men and half women. After that, the line gradually changed when the Ohashi sisters (Katsura Kusunoki, Kaoru Ohashi) and Katayama Yu began to publish the works of the "Fu Rodo" contributors, and now it is a magazine for girls. |

From the 10th issue to the September 2009 issue, it was published monthly, and the name of the magazine was "Monthly Wings". Since then, it has returned to bi-monthly publications and is published on even-numbered months 28. ○ The notation of the month is dated the following month.
At the time of its inception, it serialized Michael Moorcock's "Elric Series" translated by Akemi Itsuji.
There were many additional publications, including "Phantom Club" (see also section #姉妹誌), but the paper magazine is now discontinued except for "Novel Wings", and "Novel Wings" became independent in 2009. In addition, there is a web supplement "Web Magazine Wings"
The August issue, released on June 28, 2022, is the 40th anniversary issue, and the tagline has been changed from "Shoujo manga for adults" to "Sense of Wonder, again."
